SISU Endurance Team

The SISU Endurance Team is a new program that is being offered to Iron and Gogebic County youth, grades 2 – 12. The goal is to get kids to participate in silent sports, such as xc skiing, mountain biking and running.

The 2018 SET XC Ski Club took place at the ABR Ski Trails on Sunday afternoons, January through early March. We had a great group of volunteers and coaches that were very excited about this new program and over 40 youth members participated.

New this summer, SET has started a Mountain Biking Club and Running Club! The Running Club starts on June 11th and the Mountain Biking Club starts on Wednesday, July 18th. If you are interested in enrolling your child in either program, check out the Forms and Applications page for registration information.

The Mountain Biking Club will be hosting a “try it out” day on Wednesday, June 20th. Hope to see you there!

The 2017-2018 SISU Endurance Team volunteers and it’s 40+ youth members would like to thank the Gogebic Range Health Foundation for their generous $2000 contribution. We wouldn’t be able to start new programs like this without the help of local organizations like the GRHF.
