Logic models are visual representations of how a professional, or groups of professionals, intends to reach a goal. They consider factors like inputs (resources), outputs (what’s being produced/done), and outcomes (results). The final results, the outcomes, are typically changes in things like attitudes, skills, behaviors, or environments.
Iron County UW-Extension’s logic model outlines how the 4 different program areas – 4-H Youth Development, Community Development, Family Living, and Horticulture/WNEP – are aligning their individual strengths to meet the common goal of engaging young people in creating a healthy community.
